The Cruise Nationals Season Finale is the title for the final event of the Cruise Nationals summer season. Once again it will be held during the Motor City Car Club’s fabulous “Autofest”. Amongst the over 1000 custom & classic cars & trucks attending Autofest, we expect 60 of the finest hot rods and classic cars and trucks from Southern Ontario to grace the lawns of Lakeview Park in Oshawa. These vehicles will be the Representatives from our 10 Cruise Nationals Regional ‘Car shows’ that will be held this July. (see ‘Regional Cruise Locations’ for dates). The regulation by which they were judged was by “OVERALL IMPRESSION”.

Cruise Nationals is not a concours class event.

Each of the 60 Cruise Nationals Representatives and one passenger will be provided with coupons for complimentary admission to Autofest and refreshments as well. All of the Representative’s vehicles will be parked in a secure and orderly fashion with the whole area being marshalled by our efficient Cruise Nationals crew, several of whom also work at the Cruise Nationals display at the AutoShow in February. Keeping everyone happy and above all, well-informed, will be DJ Bob our Cruise Nationals Associate.

The Season Finale schedule will commence with a ‘welcome’ address at 11:00 am. At approximately 2:00 p.m. we host the Awards ceremony when each Representative will be presented with their gift bag of Cruise Nationals memorabilia. With the assistance of KRUZ Radio and for fun & frolic we will host several games of skill and chance as part of the Cruise Nationals Olympics. At this time the 10 Cruise Nationals Winning Finalists will be announced. Each ‘Finalist’ will be presented with a cash certificate of $700.00 redeemable upon their vehicle’s appearance at the 2012 AutoShow.

Following this presentation, these now famous 10 Cruise Nationals Finalists will assemble by Lake Ontario for a comprehensive photo shoot of vehicle and owner. The 10 Finalists will now go ‘all the way’ and will be ‘On Display” at the 2012 Canadian International AutoShow. They will be admired and photographed by over 300,000 AutoShow attendees. In addition they will compete for the title of Cruise Nationals Grand Champion Gold Medalist, Cruise Nationals Silver Medalist and Cruise Nationals Bronze Medalist.
