  • Is there a day care service provided at the Show?
    Yes! We are pleased to offer you child day care services in the Volkswagen PlayCare Centre located in the South MTCC, Level 600.
  • What are the dates and hours of the 2017 Canadian International AutoShow?
    The AutoShow opens Friday February 17 and runs through Sunday February 26. For show hours and dates, go to www.autoshow.ca . Please be aware that the CIAS opens at noon on Friday Feb 17 and closes at 6pm on Sun Feb 26.
  • Where is the show located?
    The 2017 Canadian International AutoShow is held at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) in both North and South Buildings.Click here for location and directions: http://www.mtccc.com/map.aspx
  • Does the MTCC have parking?
    Yes. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has 1,700 indoor parking spaces with 10,000 more in the immediate vicinity. Parking maps and prices can be found on the MTCC website. Click here: https://www.mtccc.com/map.aspx. We would like to remind patrons that Union Station is a 10 minute walk from the MTCC through the covered  Skywalk PATH.
  • How much does parking cost?

  • Does the show have coat check? If so, how much does it cost?
    Yes, coat check is available in room 203D in the North Building, and in front of the VW PlayCare Centre in the South Building. Coat check is $3.00 each.
  • Can we bring any food/drinks in the show?
    Unfortunately food and drinks are not permitted from entering any of the exhibit halls. You may walk around the main lobby halls (North MTCC, Level 200 and South MTCC, Level 500) with your beverages before entering the Show.
  • What food options are at the show?
    There are multiple food vendors at the AutoShow located in the North (Level 200) and South (Level 800) concessions, and a restaurant located on the 600 Level beside the PlayCare Centre. There are many restaurants and cafes immediately surrounding the Convention Centre as well.

  • By Public Transit (Toronto)
    There are a variety of options to reach the Convention Centre via public transit using the TTC, GO Transit and the UP Express. Directions can be found here: https://www.mtccc.com/map.aspx.
  • From The Airport (Pearson)
    Take HWY 401 E to HWY 427 South. Follow HWY 427 South to the Gardiner Expressway. For the North Building exit at Spadina and proceed north on Spadina Ave., turn right on Front St., turn right on Simcoe St, then turn right into the garage. For the South Building Exit at York St and proceed north two lights then turn left on Bremner Blvd., left on Lower Simcoe St. and right into the garage.   • By Car From North (Barrie)
    Take HWY 400 South to HWY 401 West. Continue on HWY 401 West to HWY 427 South. Follow HWY 427 South to the Gardiner Expressway.     Follow the QEW East. It will become the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto.   • What is the cancellation policy on tickets?

    All tickets are non-refundable.

  • Are strollers allowed in the show? Can I rent a wheelchair or scooter?

    Unfortunately, you are not able to rent strollers or scooters, however you may bring your own stroller or scooter into the Show. Wheelchairs are available on Level 200 in the North MTCC at the Nurses Station. Wheelchairs are on a first come first serve basis.

  • How do I access both North and South buildings?

    You can access the North building through the main entrance doors on Front Street, or from the east via a Skywalk, a glass-enclosed access way from Union Station and mass transit. The South building entrance doors are located at 222 Bremner Blvd, and for easy access to the North Building, you are able to walk through the MTCC’s climate-controlled walkway. Alternatively, the Show has a shuttle bus service to get you to and from both buildings.

  • How do I purchase tickets to the AutoShow?

    Tickets for the public may be purchased online at www.autoshow.ca or at the Show from the ticketing booths located in the foyers of both North and South buildings. For hours and ticket prices, please refer to our website: www.autoshow.ca/tickets

  • What form of payment options are accepted?

    VISA, DEBIT, AMEX, MASTERCARD and CASH are accepted

  • Where is the lost and found?

    Our Lost & Found is located in the Security Office in room 202 D, North Building of the MTCC. You may also call (416) 585-8360 or go to the Guest Services Desk in the North and South Buildings to inquire about lost items.

  • Can I leave and come back?

    You may leave and re-enter the Convention Centre on the same day provided you get your hand stamped before exiting.

  • Can I bring a backpack, bag or purse into the Show?

    Yes, you may bring any of the above items into the show. All backpacks, bags, purses etc., will be searched prior to entry.

  • Are cameras allowed in the Show?

    Yes, cameras are allowed at the Canadian AutoShow granted they do not disrupt the enjoyment of the show for others.

  • What cars are at the Show?

  • Can you purchase cars at the Show?

    Each manufacturer booth will provide knowledgeable staff to give you vehicle details and pricing. You may not purchase vehicles on site, however sales personnel working the Show will direct you to the appropriate dealership to purchase your vehicle after your visit to the AutoShow. *Remember, not all staff working the booths are licensed and permitted to discuss price, so please ask to speak with the most appropriate sales personnel when you arrive at the booth.

  • Are pets allowed in the Show?

    No, pets are not allowed in the Canadian International AutoShow.
